The Nuclear Power Industry trusts Tavis for some of their critical air flow controls, with very low differential pressure transducers that have been seismically qualified. So do oil companies measuring high, down-hole pressures at hot temperatures. Conventional power companies also call on Tavis for their special sensing needs. When a process requires a rugged, bulletproof, install-it-and-forget-it measurement that the cheap sensors can’t handle, a Tavis transducer or transmitter is the right sensor investment. This is especially true for applications that must monitor very low delta pressures.
